The Aqua Aerobics program is run by the Murrumbidgee Local Health District all thanks to the instruction from volunteer Lenore Schiller and the Young Aquatic Centre.
Last Wednesday on behalf of the group Mrs Schiller donated a $500 cheque to Young Community Chest.
"The ladies only cost for the classes are their pool entry and a gold coin donation," Mrs Schiller said.
The gold coin donations are then donated to local charities with two other donations already made through the summer period.
"We make sure it goes to a local charity," Mrs Schiller said. "It's a great thing for them knowing their money is going to a great organisation."
The Young Community Chest is very grateful for the donation.
"It means a lot to us, every bit means we can help more people," Young Community Chest's Trisha Hill said.
