Captain Stuart Watters from the Royal Australian Navy will be the guest speaker this Thursday for both the 6am dawn service and 11am Anzac Day service at the Young Town Hall.

Captain Watters joined the Royal Australian Navy in 1994.
Captain Watters has completed deployments in support of Operations Slipper and Catalyst in the Middle East, and border protection Operation Resolute, as well as Operation Saville.
He completed the Australian Staff and Command College in 2011, followed by a staff role Navy Experimentation.

Commander Watters was promoted into a role as Deputy Director Sailor Career Management within the Navy People Career Management Agency in mid-2012 before posting into the Force Structure Development Directorate within Military Strategy Branch in 2015.
He was posted as Anzac Class Capability Support Manager within Surface Combatant Group in 2018, before being promoted into his current position as Director Destroyers within Navy Capability Division.
