The Stars of Young will launch their fundraising campaigns over the coming weeks ahead of this year's Dance for Cancer gala night.

Fifteen people will be thrown from their comfort zone and onto the dance floor at a show on June 14 and will raise money for cancer services in the Young area.
Each Star will also auction a tradie for up to five hours work.

- Why are you a participant in this event?
It's a wonderful cause.
- Do you have any dance experience?
I learnt every dance move I know in the 80s, and at the Aussie Hotel.
- If you could describe your dance style in three words, what would it be?
They call me Dancing Queen.
- Do you have a signature move?
The Sprinkler.
- What is it that you're most excited about, being a part of the Dance for Cancer?
Fun and laughter.
- Why is the work of Cancer Council NSW important to you?
Because everyone will be touched by it.
David Coombes - Ray White Young
- Why are you a participant in this event?
My Ray White team nominated me to rival colleague Dick Cummins.
- Do you have any dance experience?
Barn dancing. Occasional boot scootin'.
- If you could describe your dance style in three words, what would it be?
Not very good.
- Do you have a signature move?
The Sprinkler.
- What is it that you're most excited about, being a part of the Dance for Cancer?
Being able to show off my moves, making people laugh and supporting a cause that holds special meaning to me.
- Why is the work of Cancer Council NSW important to you?
As a cancer survivor myself, I would like to give back to the community that supported me whilst raising much needed funds.
- How will you be fundraising in the lead up?
Car wash, sausage sizzle, charity auction, donations at open homes and auctions.
