Cherrypickers coach Roy Jewitt has been forced to make a number of difficult decisions since his side's second straight loss in round two against Gundagai, ahead of Sunday's Group Nine clash with Wagga Brothers on the road.
Jewitt is hoping to see an improved start after conceding 28 points before scoring a try against Gundagai, and 16 points in round one before scoring against Wagga Kangaroos.
"We need to start with all guns blazing," Jewitt said.
Youngster James Schiller has secured the fullback position left by Nayah Freeman who will miss the rest of the season after breaking his shoulder against Gundagai.
Blake Hewitt returns after recovering from an AC joint injury and will start at hooker, while Casey Wall is promoted from the bench to begin in the second-row.
Front-rower Kyle Richens is included but remains in some doubt after leaving the field against Gundagai with an ankle injury.
Jewitt has named Bailey Coombes and Cherrypickers junior Harry Fitzpatrick on either wings to mark their first games in the top grade in 2019.
Meanwhile, Young is expected to unveil a former Fijian under-20s rugby representative next weekend.
Simione Sawene was initially named on Young's bench for Sunday's clash with Wagga Brothers, however his arrival in the Cherry Capital has been delayed until next week.
A cousin of key signing Aborosio Navori, Sawene is coming off a full pre-season in club rugby in Brisbane, but has experience in the 13-man code after trialing as a front-rower with Newcastle Knights back in 2012.
"Boro [Aborosio Navori] has spoken very highly of him," Jewitt said.
This Sunday's game is set to start at 2.35pm with lower grades beginning at 10am.
Brothers first grade are also without a victory after two rounds.
Young:
- 1 James Schiller, 2 Bailey Coombes, 3 Aborosio Navori, 4 Numiasasulu Tema, 5 Harry Fitzpatrick, 6 Tom Bush, 7 Jesse Corcoran, 8 Saul Lealaitafea, 9 Blake Hewitt, 10 Kyle Richens, 11 Casey Wall, 12 Jayke Hogan, 13 Warren Aiken. 14 Aaron Slater, 15 William Scott, 16 Jonty Langfield.
