Schools around the Young region have started working on performances for the 2019 Cherry Jam concert with organisers releasing dates for when the event will be held.

Every two years the public schools from around Young get together and put on a show that includes dance, music, songs and drama.
This year, as in previous years, performances will be conducted by students at Young Public School, Young North Public School, Young High School, Murringo Public School, Maimuru Public School, Monteagle Public School, Bribbaree Public School and Wombat Public School.
