A man charged with stalking Liberal candidate for Mayo, Georgina Downer, during the recent federal election will deny the allegations.

Paul Roy Bunney appeared before Mt Barker Magistrates Court on Wednesday where his lawyer said the charges would be defended "in their entirety".
Bunney was remanded on continuing bail to return to court next month.
The 63-year-old had worked as a volunteer for Central Alliance MP Rebekha Sharkie during the election campaign but was dumped once the allegations surfaced.
In a statement at the time, Ms Sharkie characterised the allegations as extremely serious.
She went on to retain Mayo with an increased majority, securing 55 per cent of the vote on a two-party basis.
