Ross is a local lad but now lives at Orange where he is a life member of the Orange Historical Society.
Ross is the author of a number of books on the history of Young and is currently doing a lot of research on Young and Orange.
The DVD called "The History of Young" is designed to demonstrate what Young looked like at various stages of it's early development.
This DVD will be reasonably priced and will be sold on the night.
The museum in Campbell Street is still improving its display and receiving new donations.
Just received is two sashes donated by Mrs. Marcia Murray who received them at the Centenary Festival in 1958 when she won the Miss Centenary Competition.
She was nominated as Miss Tennis Club and went on to win the Miss Centenary Title.
Her maiden name was Marcia Goodlock
Another item to be donated but not yet received is a bed which was used in the Police Cells behind the Police Houses and Court House in Campbell Street.
