Bred by Josh and Chloe Powderly, the nine year old daughter of the Panorama mare Witch Party has served her owners well facing the starter 128 times, for 24 wins, 37 places and $281,233 prizemoney.
Her fastest mile rate was 1:50.9min.
Her consecutive triple wins at Albion Park over a month period in July 2108 was just some of many over a rewarding twelve month period.
She raced successfully both in NSW and Queensland including third in the 2018 Inter Dominion heat at Cranbourne, followed by an impressive second in the Interdom Consolation.
Village Witch raced at Menangle on May 25, 2019, her last win was, while under the care of another former local in Jason Grimson, at that centre on November 17, 2108.
Part owner Josh Powderly has not yet made up his mind as to the sire of choice for the budding broodmare, a slip of the tongue could indicate that the Bettors Delight stallion and NZ Horse Of The Year 2017/2018 Lazarus may be in the firing line at this stage.
No doubt the other half of the team will have her say in the not to distant future.
