Last Thursday the school competed in the Untuned (drums) and Tuned (Marimbas) Percussion sections of the Eisteddfod and won Highly Commended in both divisions.
The students had been practicing and working very hard to prepare for the Eisteddfod and now have two further awards to the ones they have already won this year.
Last month the students travelled to the Eisteddfod to compete in the Choral section where they took out first place with their performance of Cups from Pitch Perfect and Hopeful by Bars and Melody. The school has been asked to return to perform in the Grand Finale Concert on June 15.
