This Saturday Young Junior Rugby League Cherrypickers will travel to Cootamundra for games against the Junior Bulldogs.
It's always a great day against the Bulldogs and no doubt this Saturday will be the same.
Thinking pink for breast cancer
This Saturday will be a very special day as Coota will be running a Breast Cancer fundraising day.
All teams including our own will be wearing pink socks we have purchased from the McGrath Foundation and will be given to the players Saturday.
We ask that all players bring along a gold coin and give to their coach for these socks which we will donate to a local cancer charity in Young but we would love to show our Picker Ticker and support their raffles and fundraising on the day.
Cadbury Fundraising boxes
While on fundraising can everybody please bring back the chocolate fundraising money either Friday night or at our next home game next Saturday against Turvey Park please.
Rep side information
Our Little Pickers will have plenty of footy this Saturday, with the 7, 8, 9, 10Tag and 8Tag playing two games.
Unfortunately, our Under 6 Pickers have no games this Saturday as Cootamundra don't field sides in this age but for our others we would love to see plenty of our little Pickers make the trip to Coota to turn out for the Pickers.
Our 16Tag and 15 boys sides will play on Les Boyd oval on what is a designated junior/senior round with our senior Pickers also playing at Cootamundra on Saturday in a huge day of footy.
Town Comp information
Town Comp will be on Friday night with games from 6pm with the Roosters and Sharks on duty.
Our duty sides are doing a great job on the set up and pack up of the fields and lending a hand in the canteen and no doubt that will continue Friday.
Can all coaches and parents involved in the second games please make sure the fields are packed up after their games.
