"For the June long weekend 2019 (June 6-10) there was a total of 117 approved fireworks displays for New South Wales. A total of three fireworks single use licences were issued for Young," a spokesperson from SafeWork NSW said.

- To have approval from the council if seeking a licence less than seven days notice to SafeWork NSW
According to Service NSW, the licence is only valid for a single nominated event.
Events can be one day, up to three consecutive days, or an extended display longer than three consecutive days, but no longer than three months for an organised public event, or 12 months for a theatrical display.
