Young ladies' bowling club hosted the Region 10 triples playoff for 2019 on Tuesday and Wednesday this week.
Representing South Western District were local girls Elsie Hines, Jenny Holt and Margo Parker from Young Bowling Club.
The Southern District area was represented by a team from Temora Ex and Central Riverina by a team from Ganmain.
Ganmain had two wins plus 32, Temora came second with one win -27, Young came third with no wins and a -5.
Kelly Rose Bowls
Last Saturday, Young was represented by Sheila Traynor, Judy Watson, Margo Parker, Judith Mulligan, Margaret Gailey and Elsie Hines in the Kelly Rose Bowl at Grenfell.
They came second with 48 shots, one behind Grenfell who had 49.
Boorowa had 37 shots and a Cootamundra Ex composite team had 33 with Harden close behind at 33 shots.
A great day of competition was had by all.
Minor singles
Entries opened Tuesday, June for the Young women's minor singles championships.
This is usually a hotly contested competition and will start on Tuesday, July 16.

- Tuesday, June 25: Regional pairs playoff - Wagga RSL, women's social bowls - Young
- Wednesday, June 26: Regional pairs playoff final.
- Thursday, June 27: Cowra Charity Day, women's social bowls start 1.30pm
