Search warrants were executed at Young and Harden residences on Thursday, June 13 and Friday, June 14 respectively, with police alleging at each location they located cannabis and other items consistent with the supply of illicit drugs.
About 9.05am on the Thursday, police attended the Young home and seized cannabis, cannabis oil and prescription medication, they allege.
A 60-year-old male was arrested and taken to Young Police Station.
Police say he will be charged with drug offences.
A day later, about 9.05am, police found a hydroponic cannabis set up while executing the second search warrant at a Harden home.
They will allege the house also contained several cannabis plants as well as other drugs.
A 54-year-old woman was arrested and taken to Young Police Station and charged with drug related offences including supply prohibited drug.
Young police say they encourage the community to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800333000 if they suspect a person or premises is involved in the supply of prohibited drugs.
"If anyone comes forward with information on drug suppliers we can act on it, as is seen with these two search warrants," Inspector Jacob Reeves said.
"Both came to us from the public and were acted on."
