The "Ngurra" Exhibition "Ngurra" (pronounced Noora) is a Wiradjuri word meaning "together".
An invitation is extended to the public to join them for the official opening and morning tea at 11am on Saturday, June 29.
Local artists Aunty Enid Clarke, Christine Hamilton, Stewart James and Brodie and Tori Apps will come together with visiting artists Peter Beath from Cootamundra, Debbie Wood and Juanita McLauchlan from Wagga Wagga and Krystal Ingram from Griffith.
Each artist will bring to the exhibition their very own talent and passion through different mediums of painting, printing and weaving to share their culture with you.
This exhibition will help the viewer understand and appreciate the richness and diversity of indigenous art in our local area.
The exhibition will be open daily till August 9.
NAIDOC week 2019 will be held nationally from July 7 to July 14.
