About 8.50pm on Friday, June 14 police were patrolling Zouch Street when they stopped a 29-year-old male driving a white Nissan.
He returned a positive result and was taken to Young Police Station.
He registered .162.
His licence was suspended, and he was charged to appear before court.

About 1.20am on Saturday, June 15 police stopped a 25-year-old female driving a black Hyundai for a random breath test in Karabah Avenue, Young.
The female returned a positive result and was taken to Young Police Station for a breath analysis.
At the police station she returned a reading of 0.088 grammes of alcohol in 210 millilitres of breath.
Her licence was suspended, and she was issued with a court attendance notice to appear before court at a later date.
