Applications have been extended for NSW's first-ever Regional Youth Taskforce, which gives young people a platform to discuss issues which matter to them.
The popularity of the initiative has been so strong that the deadline for submissions has been shifted to allow as many young people as possible to have their say.
Topics such as getting a job, transport, mental health, housing and homelessness are up for discussion, and Ms Cooke is encouraging submissions from all those who wish to make a contribution.
Applications are open to anyone aged 12 to 24 who lives in regional NSW, and travel costs and accommodation will be covered for Regional Youth Taskforce members who need to travel.
