The 28-year-old male was stopped on Boorowa Street, Young for a random breath test about 10.05pm on Saturday, July 13.
He returned a positive reading and was taken to Young Police Station for a breath analysis which allegedly returned a reading of 0.083.
He was charged and suspended from driving.
He'll appear at court at a later date.
- Stealing in Grenfell
A 16-year-old girl who stole items from two retail stores in Grenfell has been dealt with under the Young Offenders Act and banned from the businesses.
Police allege the girl attended two stores about 8am and 9.20am on Thursday, July 11 and stole items from both businesses.
Police were contacted and identified the juvenile. Later the same day police attended a home in Grenfell and spoke to the 16-year-old.
She was later dealt with under the Young Offenders Act.
The 16-year-old and two juveniles in company with her have been issued with banning notices from two retail premises in Grenfell.
