Tracy Clark and Carole Clark, secretary and president of Hilltops Choir respectively, presented Eris Gleeson from Hilltops Suicide Prevention Network with the cheque on behalf of MUS.
The presentation followed a successful choral weekend workshop in Young.
MUS were delighted to support a local service with their donation, particularly in a time of drought.
MUS is a non-auditioned community choir from Sydney's North-West.
Originally established in 1967 as a university choir based at Macquarie University, MUS has always included members of the general community as well as students and staff.
Macquarie Singers holds two major concerts per year in a variety of venues and is committed to supporting community events.
MUS enjoyed joining the Hilltops Choir for a city-meets-country weekend, singing a variety of repertoire from Billy Joel to Elizabethan England.
