"It's great to see so many people get behind this cause," Sam Friend said.
"The tickets flew off the shelves."
On Thursday Sam and the boys had a few free hours so they organised to install the solar panels while they had the time.
Sam is also calling on other local businesses to join the cause and help the family out as they have had to reorganise their lives so that Eli can fight for his.
"My son became friends with Eli through day care, that's how I became involved," Sam said.
The solar panels were auctioned off as a part of one of the many fundraisers for Eli Anderson who was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia on May 11 this year, three days after his third birthday.
He recently finished round one of his treatment at Sydney's Ronald McDonald House, and will soon begin the second phase with another two phases of treatment to go.
