The exhibition "All for the love of Art" will officially open with a morning tea at 11am on September 21. An open invitation is extended to all to view the talent of local artists as they portray some of our local identities on canvas.

Organising of the 36th YSA Annual Competitive Art Exhibition to be held in the Young Town Hall over the Young Cherry Festival is a major event for YSA members. A large number of entries are expected and if you are an artist living within 120km of Young, we would love to see your work.

Entry forms for this exhibition will be available after September 21 from the Young Town Hall, the Southern Cross Cinema, Young Hilltops Visitors Centre and Burrangong Gallery. Entries are due by November 8. Now is the time for artists to get creative with nine categories and over $5000 prize money, kindly donated in sponsorship by local business and individuals.

A reminder that the Art room will be closed for the school holidays from September 30 and will re-open on October 14.
