Seventeen teams have entered this year which is down slightly from 22 in 2018.
Teams are coming from Adelong, Bega, Canberra, Grenfell, Forbes, Griffith, Penrith, Bowral, Doonside, Koorawatha, Murringo and Young.
Players ages vary from 35 to above 74 years of age.
Games are 15 minutes each way.
Two referees are coming from Brisbane to officiate the carnival.
Organiser Geoff Hill said its one of the biggest Masters carnivals in NSW.
"We receive a lot of positive feedback from visiting teams. They all really look forward to coming to Young. It's the end of the footy season, it's a bit of a end of season trip for a lot of guys involved with clubs," organiser Geoff Hill said.
"To hold a successful carnival for 11 years it's down to the hard work of the Cherryatrics and also our sponsors, for without them we could not run this weekend."
A meet and greet will be held at the Young S and C Club on Friday evening, and dinner and a number of draws will take place with more than 300 players and visitors on Saturday night.
The annual City and Country game on Sunday morning is due to start at 10.10am.
Organiser Geoff Hill said the players are keen to hit the paddock.
"They're always excited for this weekend and look forward to playing," he said.
Games will be played on two grounds at Keith Cullen Oval, while three games on Saturday will take place at Hall Bros Oval.
Modified rules are enforced with players wearing white, yellow or red shorts to determine whether they can be tackled, grabbed or tagged.
The Cherryatrics take on Koorawatha on Saturday morning in their opening game at 10.20am at Hall Bros Oval.
They also meet Doonside Rebels on Saturday afternoon and Grenfell Dinosaurs on Sunday morning at Keith Cullen Oval.
Some of the players lining up for Young include Lee Hardy, Anthony Hill, Marc Owen, Phil Coddington, Dean Bedford, Michael Sutherland, Col Banwell, Andrew Miller, Paul Smith, Sean Casey, Craig Jones and a few more.
Entry is a gold coin donation which goes to a local charity.
Games commence on Saturday morning at 9am with the last game of the day starting at 1.40pm.
Sunday's games will kick-off from 9am with the last game scheduled for 11.40am.
