Hilltops Library Service is offering a series of Spring Author Events in November with two successful Australian authors. Rosalie Ham, author of the bestselling "The Dressmaker" which became an award winning film will speak at events in Young, Harden and Boorowa on November 13 and 14.
Author of Scrublands, Chris Hammer who before turning to fiction was a journalist covering Australian federal politics and international affairs, will be at Young and Boorowa on November 21 and 22.

New Exhibition
Jackie Whiting November 2 to December 14. A new five-week exhibition starts at Burrangong Gallery in early November featuring the work of Jackie Whiting, a landscape artist from Tumut. Jackie's exhibition opens on November 2 until December 14.

Jazz Standards at Take 5
Audience members for this week's Take 5 on Friday concert at Hilltops Library Young are promised a program of tasteful jazz standards by long-term amateur performer, Brian Ridge.
Brian, of Cootamundra, is a pianist and vocalist and a new face to the Take 5 line up. He's a welcome addition to the performers who share their time and talents.
