Batting first at Cranfield Oval, Jason Hall (31) and Mick Ashton (26) led the run scoring as the Coyotes were bowled out for 148.
Early wickets had the Coyotes reeling a 4-34, before Hall, Ashton and Ben Murray (24) lifted the Coyotes to a score close to 150.
Ashton removed the Crusaders' opening batsmen to give the Coyotes a boost after the change of innings.
However, Matt Berkrey (83 not out) piloted the Cootamundra side to victory with support from Phil Gay (22) and Josh Purtell (11), passing the winning total with seven wickets down in the 35th over. Ashton finished with three wickets.
Young S and C Club Blues had the bye, while Temora defeated Cootamundra Centrals.
In Division Two, Burrangong defeated Cootamundra Ex-Services, Temora Ex-Services beat Stockinbingal, Criterion Hotel Gunners were too good for S and C Club Saints, and Shamrock Hotel beat Temora Bowling Club.
