Play has been held on some mornings in an attempt to avoid the really hot afternoons.
There were 18 players involved last Thursday afternoon.
The vouchers for the highest winning margin went to Harold Anderson, Stewart Taylor and Denis Rosen who won their game by 21 shots.
Other winning teams and margins were Aldo Malvicino and Tony Ruhl (6 shots), Darryle Miller and Les Fanning (10 shots) and Geoff Connelly and Peter Slater (8 shots).
Play on Saturday morning saw just 10 players involved.
Both winning teams - Harold Anderson and Cliff Traynor in the pairs game and Garry Fish, Michael Webb and Ian Schofield in the triples game - had a margin of four shots.
No count-back was done and the vouchers were shared between the winners.
Play was not held on Sunday morning due to the poor air quality.
Players should check the notice board for information on the following:
- Pennants for 2020;
- Presentation Day on Sunday January 19;
- District Fours Championships
- Bowls on Thursday and Saturdays and also for Wednesday and Friday nights.
Thanks to those club members who have assisted with recent top dressing of the greens.
There will be another working bee at 7.00am on Sunday.
