Chasing 163 for victory at Cranfield Oval, Palmer bludgeoned 36 off 15 balls including two final over sixes to secure the Coyotes a remarkable three wicket win with just three balls remaining.
Palmer entered the crease at three wickets down and timed the successful chase to perfection, despite consistent wickets falling around him.
With eight runs needed off the final six balls of the game, Palmer flicked the first ball off his pads over backward square-leg for six before launching off the front-foot a second maximum over mid-wicket to win the match.
Logan Edwards (four not out off nine balls) played an important role providing resistance late in the innings to give Palmer his opportunity, as the Blues were closing in on victory at 7-131.
Earlier in the day, Blues captain Jonte Powderly guided his side to a formidable total of 7-162 after their allotted 20 overs.
Powderly scored a game high 59 off 42 balls before Cameron brothers Duncan (31 not out) and Mitch (15 off five balls) provided some late hitting to boost the Blues to past 150.
In reply, Coyotes openers Ben Murray (45) and Smithie Goodman (37) laid a solid platform of 75 runs.
In the second Division One game Crusaders defeated Centrals by six wickets chasing 115 for victory.
In Division Two Burrangong defeated Criterion Gunners, Temora Renegades were too good for Cootamundra Magpies, Stockinbingal defeated Temora Tigers, Shamrock Hotel beat S and C Club Saints.
