More than 30 kids took to Cranfield Oval on Friday morning to boost their skills ahead of the second half of the 2019/2020 season.
Coaches put a focus on basic skills of batting, bowling and fielding before a few modified games, while catering for boys and girls ranging in ages from under 10s through to under 16s.
Southern Inland NSW cricket manager Michael Minns said they were happy to put on a clinic for the keen juniors.
The session started at 9am and ended with a barbecue lunch about 12.30pm.
"We were approached by the junior association committee to come and run a bit of a coaching session for the kids during the holidays," Michael said.
"We thought we'd come and do some basic cricket drills focusing on fielding, bowling and batting and finishing off with a couple of modified games at the end. Hopefully they got a bit out of it and learned a few cricket skills, it was a fun holiday activity.
"We were probably a mix of under 10s up to under 16s. There was about 32 kids here today which is a really good turn out. For us it's about giving access to resources and coaching to the regional centres.
"We've ticked off a lot throughout the season so far, when we visit these areas we want to give what the people ask for and that's quality content to everyone."
Junior cricket resumes February 1.
