The 22-player squad was named on Tuesday this week.
Cherrypickers first grade coach Nick Hall, who has witnessed the brothers progress through the junior grades in Young, said he wasn't shocked by the exciting news.
"They're great lads. I'm not surprised at all because they're very talented players," he said.
"They're both very committed, they're doing a lot of extras outside training and have a lot of support from their family, who are all good athletes as well. They have great genetics and great work ethics.
"They're only going to get better and better playing against tougher competition. They'll blossom down there. I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens this year for them."
The junior representative competitions will showcase the talents of more than 1000 players in a total of 216 games across 13 weeks in the UNE Harold Matthews Cup (under 16s), UNE SG Ball Cup (under 18s) and the Harvey Norman Tarsha Gale Cup (under 18s women).
The Canberra Raiders host Parramatta Eels in the opening game on Saturday, February 8 at Belconnen Oval.
