Ms Cooke said her focus was on the continued efforts of volunteers and emergency services who have been part of the struggle to contain the Dunns Road Fire, which has burnt more than 333,900 hectares.
"This fire season has been horrific, 25 people have lost their lives, hundreds of millions of animals have perished, and at least five million hectares have been burnt," she said.
"I am so grateful to the Premier for leading the state in sharing our experiences with these bushfires and our condolences to those who have lost loved ones."
Ms Cooke also thanked constituents in her electorate.
"There are thousands of people from around the Cootamundra Electorate who have played a role in firefighting, volunteering and fundraising and I am pleased I have been able to mention some of them in our State's Parliament."
