A 35-year-old Young man and an 8-year-old passenger were treated in Young Hospital on Sunday after an accident on Wombat Road near Young.

According to police at about 6:30am on Sunday February 9 the man was driving a vehicle, towing a car trailer with a car on it, along the Olympic Highway, Young. Police said when the vehicle was near Boundary Rd, the driver experienced a loss of control. The vehicle rolled and collided with a tree before spinning down the road. The vehicle on the trailer broke free and came to rest several metres from the white Toyota.
The driver was trapped before being freed by Fore and Rescue NSW.
Both occupants were taken to Young Hospital for assessment and treatment.
