A liberal programme was drawn up consisting of five races per day. Total prize money amounts to £200.
Included in this is the Young Cup of £30, with a £20 Cup added.
The club offered the inducement of paying 50 per cent of the railway charge, arrangements have been made to have the racecourse platform extended thus enabling horse owners to load and unload their horses at the racecourse, which was situated near the three-mile rush at Tipperary, instead of having to walk them from town.
Nominations for all events closed Wednesday April 21 at 9pm with the go-a-head secretary Mr RM Macadam. In brilliant sunshine, and under happy auspices, the Young Cup meeting commenced on Wednesday afternoon.
The dark days of the war being over. A convenient train service, both for passengers and horses was provided between Young and Cowra.
There was good fields in every race, heaps of money went into the bookmakers bags and a fair percentage returned to lucky investors, and the tote was popular with the small investors.
The Cup race carried the richest prize money of the meeting, in addition to a massive silver trophy, worth 20 guineas. It was won by the well bred five-year-old mare Blanny, owned by Mr W Cordingly, of Young, and trained by Mr WT Cook . Blanny's win was popular amongst local sports, who backed her for big amounts at 4 to 1. It was a great race, the eight runners comprising some of the best performers in the west.

Mr WD Cordingley the owner of Blanny, has sold his property Clover Hill on the Temora Road and moved into Young where he has started a Stock and Station Agency. He lives in Wombat Street in the handsome cottage known as The Bungalow.
The 100 year old trophy on display The Young Cup which was won by Blanny owned by Mr WD Cordingley 100 years ago on April 28,1920 has returned to Young.
It will be put on display at the Lambing Flat Folk Museum from February 21, 2020 to March 21, 2020 and at the Toompang Racecourse on race day.
