The club decided to postpone the Young Pony Club Showjumping and Dressage Day and Gymkhana which were due to take place on the first weekend of April.
The decision was made in line with new social distancing rules which have been brought into place to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic as well as advice from Pony Club NSW.
In accordance with the ruling from Pony Club NSW each individual club is able to make a decision on its events after undertaking a risk assessment and as such rally days for the club will continue for the time being, however only Young Pony Club members will be able to attend.
It was announced at the end of last week that Pony Club NSW have also moved the date of its state camp which will now be held July 14 to 18 with applications to attend closing on April 22.
Several members of Young Pony Club travelled to Harden on the weekend to take part in the Harden Pony Club camp.
The camp was two solid days of fun and activities on horseback with polocrosse, eventing, showjumping and plenty of other activities.
A few other members made the trek to Eugowra for the Eugowra Pony Club Combined Training and Gymkhana weekend.
The committee will continue to take advice from Pony Club NSW and will make a decision on the annual Young Pony Club camp in the June holidays closer to the time.
