While it won't be a return to the golf club's scheduled events, golfers are being offered competition rounds with a medley Stableford ball sweepstakes to be held on Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday.
NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian on Thursday morning announced there'll be no further easing of restrictions until at least after Mother's Day, Sunday, May 10.
"While national cabinet is considering easing some restrictions from Friday in terms of the national guidelines, I doubt very much that NSW will be in a position to implement anything before Mother's Day," Ms Berejiklian said.
In a post on the Young Golf Club's Facebook page this week, golfers were given a clear set of instructions to follow in order to keep to social distancing rules and public health orders.
Competition golfers have been told they must only go around in groups of two and each player must mark their own card.
All bunkers will be treated as ground under repair, there's no flagsticks and the final tee-off time is set for 1pm, following the first group at 8am.
The pro-shop will be open during this time.
"Don't forget that players are not to congregate before or after play and social distancing rules apply," golfers have been told.
The golf club has said social play is still permissible under its three month green fee arrangement, which expires in mid-July, however competition golfers must pay a $20 fee.
"You can't play in the competition unless you pay the additional $20 fee and have a golflink handicap," the Facebook post stated.
Social three month green fee players are not able to book a time slot between 8am and 1pm on a competition Saturday or a Wednesday.
Sponsored events in the program will return when playing conditions allow, this includes events such as the Medal of Medals, golfers were told.
"It is important that you check your emails the golf club Facebook page on a regular basis as these conditions are subject to change," the post said.
