Students in Kindergarten to Year 2 returned as normal from last week with the remainder of Year 3 through Year 6 returned on Monday.
The return was carefully planned by Principals to ensure students, teachers and staff are safe and the transition follows the advice of government and health authorities.
Across the local area students at Sacred Heart Central School in Cootamundra and Trinity Catholic Primary School in Murrumburrah returned to school as normal from Monday May 11, while St Joseph's Primary School in Grenfell and St Joseph's Primary School in Boorowa have implemented a staged return.
St Joseph's Primary School, Grenfell staged return commenced from Monday, May 11 with students attending one day a week over that week with a continuation of the remote learning program and then a return to face-to-face teaching with all students very eager to get back to school as normal from yesterday, Monday, May 18.
St Joseph's Primary School, Boorowa have planned a two week return from Week 3. Students have been grouped into House and family groups each attending one day a week from Monday to Thursday. Children of essential workers and those that have been attending school, continuing to attend every day. Full-time face-to-face teaching at St Joseph's Boorowa will commence from Monday, 25 May.
