MedCIRC Medical Centre in Young would like to welcome its newest member of staff to the team and introduce her to the local community.
An experienced general practitioner, Dr Munazaah Ebad has recently joined MedCIRC Medical Centre in Young, after several years working in Sydney medical centres.
She has more than 13 years of general practice experience, both here in Australia and overseas.
Her passion has always been to achieve excellency within general practice, which is the reason she has worked throughout different parts of NSW and overseas, to increase her competency.
Dr Ebad has expertise in pregnancy check-ups, cervical screening, all aspects of women's and children's health, travel immunisation, mental health, general skin check-ups and the health of aged populations.
She recently relocated to Young after working as a GP in Sydney at different medical centres with a wide variety of different communities.
Dr Ebad is fluent in many languages including Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Bangla and to some extent, Arabic.
Aside from being a general practitioner, her passion is to teach, and she especially enjoys teaching international medical graduates.
Dr Ebad has been arranging workshops and tutorials for medical graduates for the last five years in Sydney.
She is also taking online classes for the Australian Medical Council exams.
Dr Ebad has worked as a school welfare officer for an independent school in Sydney and provided mentoring and counselling to children and their parents with special needs, such as autism, ADHD and dyslexia.
She has a dynamic personality and one of her hobbies is working with different charitable organisations to enhance the general population's wellbeing and welfare.
Dr Ebad very much enjoys serving the community via her profession as a general practitioner.
Presently, she is taking on new and existing patients via Telehealth and phone appointments only, due to COVID-19.
