Lady qualifiers were Kate Cooper and Cecile Rhodes with a score of 76.25 The winning mixed pair was Liz and Grant Harding with 69.75. There was no play on Sunday, due to the weather.
Wednesday's event was a 4BBB which was played in sunshine, but was just a bit wet underfoot. We had 19 players.
The winners were Betty Stanton and Lyn Quay with 40 points. Well done, girls. Trophy donors were Lorraine Regan and Penny Greaves.
Ball comp winners were Betty Stanton (35), Pauline Collier (31), Pammie McCloy (31), Maxine McCormack (31), Jackie Sheridan (30) and Karen Hamilton-Gibbs (30) on a count back from Helen Spencer and Lyn Quay.
Midweek match play qualifiers are Penny Greaves v Cheryl Minehan, Leanne Slater v Maureen Perkins and Suzanne Manning v Liz Harding. To be played by August 12.
Wirral Cup next round is Liz Harding v Kate Cooper and Suzanne Manning v Cathy Aiken by August 29.
Saturday, August 1 is a stroke round and the first round of the Aissur Bowl. Sponsored by Lesley Watson. There is silverware to be had.
This Saturday is also the GNSW Medal round and the VWGA Mabel McKenzie Brooch round.
Next Wednesday the ladies will be playing in the Pro's Competition as the Boorowa Tournament has been cancelled.
