Saturday was the Keith Simmons Engineering August Monthly Medal event and 70 players took part. The medal winners were in A.Grade Steve Connelly with 69, B.Grade Kane Lo with 68 on a countback and C.Grade Darcy Whinam with 68.

The Elite Cleaning scratch winners were in A.Grade Steve Connelly with 73, B.Grade Jake Veney with 80 and C.Grade Darcy Whinam with 88. The Elegant Timber Shutters and Blinds putting competition winners were in A.Grade Steve Connelly with 27 putts, in B.Grade Col Blizzard with 24 putts and in C.Grade Darcy Whinam with 28 putts. The Terry Brothers Carpet Court secret birdie hole was the 13th and it was not struck. Balls went down to 73 nett and there were 78 players.
The first round of the Handiskins was held on Saturday and 45 players have entered so far. The leaders of Round 1 of 5 are Kane Lo and Darcy Whinam with 38 points and Steve Connelly and Laurie Brown with 37 points. It's not too late to enter as your best three rounds determines who goes into the final. Round 2 will be held on Saturday 12th September.
Next Saturday is a 4BBB sponsored by Connelly's Office National held in conjunction with the single stableford NRL challenge sponsored by Young Hills. The following Saturday the 15th August is a single Bisque Par sponsored by Gavin Marshall and Craig Watson.
Medley Golf
On Wednesday Pud Smithers had the best score with 39 points and won 12 balls. Second was Neville Rhodes with 38 points followed by Mark Crutcher with 37, Andrew Sabidussi with 36 points on a countback from Erroll Perkins. Balls went down to 31 points and there were 61 players. The Friday nine hole stableford was won by Paul Levett with 24 points from Wayne Hewson with 20 points. Balls went to 19 points.
Sunday's Kyle McGovern Electrical medley was won by Gary Anderson with 35 points and there were 12 players. The Sam Woods Hilltops Regional Security secret birdie hole was the 10th and it was not struck.
