Playing the Condobolin Rams at Condobolin on Saturday in Central West Rugby action, the Yabbettes suffered a 44-5 loss while the men's Yabbies enjoyed a thumping 61-12 victory.
Full of confidence after a big win over defending premiers Cootamundra last week, the men's side made it two from two with a massive win at Condobolin.
"Right away when the boys started warming up you could see that everyone had turned up ready to play serious rugby," assistant coach Cam Rosser said.
Following a moments silence pre-match to honour Condobolin local legend Dan Slennett, the Yabbies scored early with Tom Kent crashing over out wide.
Controlling 90 per cent of the possession the Yabbies put on another three tries before the 30 minute mark. Tries to Ned Mullany at 14 minutes, Nick Schiller at 24 minutes and Tom Kent his second.
The Yabbies led at half time 27-7.
Tries continued in the second half with Young crossing five more times, while the Rams managed one.
"This was one of the best games I've seen them play in years. They really deserve this win the entire squad played their part. They deserve their beers tonight" assistant coach Cam Rosser said.
Three points went to Tom Kent, two Will Wennerbom and Henry Holmes, and one Dan O'Connor.

Round four of the Oilsplus South West competition home and away season sees the Yabbies travel to Boorowa to take on the Goldies on Saturday, August 8.
The Goldies are sitting in second spot on the ladder, one above the Yabbies in third.
In the other games, Grenfell Panthers take on Temora Tuskers, Harden are scheduled to play West Wyalong, while Cootamundra Tri-Colours hosts the Condobolin Rams.
With some new girls debuting for the Yabbettes and new combinations to work on the ladies muscled up and played smart.
"Condo play fast rugby and have backs with good vision out wide. We knew that they like to create space with their big forwards and then swing it to the backs. They are very strong and know how to get over the try line" Yabbettes captain Becky Eastaway said.
Amber Kaveney sliced through the defence to score out wide however it was the strong Condobolin outfit which was too strong.
The Yabbettes next outing is against Temora at Cranfield Oval on August 22.
