As of 8.00am on Thursday August 13, 2020 no further cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD), with the total number of reported positive cases in the region remaining at 54.

According to a MLHD spokesperson the total tests conducted in the health district area has now surpassed 40,000.
There are currently 10 active cases remaining in the MLHD with 43 patients recovering from the virus.
MLHD said there has been six people who have required hospitalisation since the beginning of the pandemic and one person sadly passed away during the beginning of the pandemic in the MLHD area.
"Testing is critical to help minimise the risk of community to community transmission and to stop the spread," a MLHD spokesperson said.
"People are required to self-isolate after the test until their result is received, this usually takes around 30 hours and can be received via text message.
"Anyone who feels unwell should be tested."
