Friday was a nine hole Stableford.
Results as follows:
Division one: winner Lorraine Regan 17 points, second Maxine McCormack 17 points.
Division two: winner Annette Alexander 15 points, second Libby Plumley 15 points on a c/b, division three winner Lyn Quay 16 points, second Estelle Roberts 16 points.
Saturday was a 18 hole Stableford.
It was also a Cancer fundraiser, hence Pink was the colour of the day.
Winners were:
Division one winner: Sandy Anderson 39 points, first nine Michele Blizzard 19 points, second nine Maxine McCormack 19 points.
Divison two winner: Libby Plumley 40 points, first nine Sandra Holmes 16 points, second nine Cathy Aiken 20 points.
Division three winner: Janine Hobson 39 points, first nine Lynne Page 19 points, second nine Pauline Collier 19 points.
Ball comp winners were: Libby Plumley (40), Janine Hobson (39), Sandy Anderson (39), Lynne Page (38), Michele Blizzard (38), Estelle Roberts (37), Gail Hanigan (36) on countback from Tilla Davis.
Sunday's event was a Foursomes, and the winners were:
Division one: Scratch winners Liz Harding and Lynne Page 46. Handicap winners Michele Blizzard and Kate Cooper 37.75 nett
Division two: Scratch winners Sandra Holmes and Tilla Davis 51. Handicap winners Estelle Roberts and Cathy Aiken 37.75 nett.
All players won a ball. Thank you again to Gail for her generosity in hosting this event. Most enjoyable for everyone.
Wednesday's event was a single Stableford. Another beautiful Spring day for golf. We had 14 players and the results were:
- Division one: Leanne Slater 41 pts
- Division two: Betty Stanton 36 pts on countback Cecile Rhodes
- Ball comp winners: Leanne Slater (41), Liz Harding (39), Betty Stanton (36) and Cecile Rhodes (36)

Next Wednesday is a single Stableford and Saturday's event is a single par.
On Sunday, the District Medal Playoffs are being held at Gundagai. Those participating from Young are Leanne Slater, Jackie Sheridan, Maureen Perkins, Tilla Davis and Pammie McCloy.
I was out golfing the other day with one of my friends.
She had a brand new putter.
When I asked what happened to her other putter, she said it couldn't swim!! Don't be like that... it's just a game! Enjoy!
