From the moment you walk through the doors, it's hard to believe that you're still in Young and not in a metropolitan facility.

Bright, modern and spacious the all new Anatomic Allied Health Centre is home to Young Diagnostic Imaging, Kirkwood Laverty Pathology, Young Health Studio (formerly Young Podiatry), AWI Consulting (psychology consulting), Grand Pacific Health as well as sessional rooms for specialists.
For the first time since opening their doors on Boorowa Street in 2006 Young Diagnostic Imaging has relocated to its new home in the newly finished building.
"It's been like a Christmas present," Young Diagnostic Imaging Practice Manager Chris Dawe said.
With two ultrasound suites, and a third to open in January, a CT suite, radiologist room, X-Ray suite, staff room and an MRI Suite due to open in the next financial year the practice is growing right along with its new location.
"The move has been great, it was very easy," Chris said.
"We had over 80 people through the doors on Monday and 120 yesterday (Tuesday)."
Peter Kirkwood is still in the process of moving his pathology practice, however he said that he is really loving the new facility.
"It's fantastic," he said.
Both Chris and Peter really wanted to thank everyone who worked tirelessly to ensure the new building was as top class as it could be.
"Shaun Stuart, his boys and Stonewood Buildings, Wills Electrics, The Joinery Store, Mark Annetts Painting, Signs R Us, Anything Electrical, Carpet Court, Rod Ferguson Plastering, Tom Clarke Plumbing, Propellor Head IT, Chris Williams, Craig Gault, Hilltops Council for getting out the front ready and the patience shown by the doctors and staff of the Young and District Medical Centre during this process," Chris said.
"And we couldn't have gotten the job done without Dave Braham," Peter said.
David Braham was with the project from the very beginning as the onsite project manager.
"He has co-ordinated trades and has been the middle man with architects, council, surveyors and owners. Dave has stuck with us under, at times, trying circumstances," Chris said.
"We are eternally grateful to you Dave."
Young Health Studio have also enjoyed their move to a bigger location as well, with Georgie and Bobbie Tye and their clients loving the new location and building.
"It's been fantastic, really, really great," Bobbie said.
There hasn't been an official opening of the Anatomic Allied Health Centre due to COVID-19 restrictions, however there are hopes the group will hold one next year.
The new building is at 12 Cloete Street in Young.
