Young residents will need to register their attendance with Hilltops Council if they wish to attend this year's Australia Day ceremony at the Town Hall.
After initially announcing an invite only event, council said on Thursday the increase in number of guests permitted is due to a relaxation of the current NSW health orders for Australia Day events.
Residents who would like to attend on the day will need to register for the event with the Young Visitor Information Centre by emailing vic@hilltops.nsw.gov.au or calling 1800 628 233 by 1pm Monday, January 25, 2021.
Numbers are limited however the event will be live-streamed on the Hilltops Council Facebook page for those who are unable to secure a registration.
Last year's ceremony was at Young Town Hall due to poor air quality from the state's bushfires.
