A ceremony was held at Wagenbah Oval as residents from Wombat and surrounds celebrated Australia Day.
Jessica Holmes won the inaugural Environmental Achievement Award and Bethany Loco was named Junior Sportsperson of the Year.
Erica Pye was honoured for her hard work behind the scenes of a number of different events and community groups in the Wombat village.
Bethany Loco was recognised after picking up Players' Player for Woodbridge Cup in their premiership winning Western Women's Rugby League under 16s campaign in 2020.
Jessica Holmes accepted the inaugural Environmental Achievement Award recognising the Wombat Public School P and C and their new recycling program.
The Cahill Family Trophy for most authentic vintage car went to Reg Johnson.
The Brendon Holmes Memorial Award for Junior Best Dressed and Overall Best Dressed went to Grace Card and Alexa Britt respectively.
Cameron Card and Taylor Card won trophies for their bike decorating efforts.
Australia Day ambassador Graham Ross, Australia's most famous horticulturalist, congratulated the winners.
"Congratulations to those who have achieved great success in the Wombat community," he said.
There was plenty to see and do at Wagenbah Oval with stalls, a tractor pull and the Cherry Capital Collectors Club display keeping those in attendance busy.
