Nathan John Christmann, 25, was stopped by police near Bribbaree, Young and again in Cootamundra between September 15 and December 16 last year.

On the first occasion on September 15, Christmann was behind the wheel of a Toyota Hilux when he was pulled over by police on Bribbaree Road about 11.15am.

Police checks revealed his P2 licence had been disqualified from July 30, 2018 until 2023.

Two days later, on September 17, Christmann was again driving a Toyota Hilux on Boorowa Street, Young and was observed by police entering a restaurant drive-thru.

When asked by police to show his licence Christmann told police "they took it off me the other day", according to facts tendered at court.

The third offence occurred on December 16, 2020.

Christmann was driving after an appearance at Young Local Court and was stopped by police about 1.55pm on the Old Cootamundra Road, Cootamundra.

"I don't have one," he told police when asked to produce a licence.

Magistrate Jillian Kiely described the offending as "appalling behaviour" and "unacceptable".

"He has absolutely no desire to comply with orders of the court put in place for very good reason," Magistrate Kiely said.

Christmann entered guilty pleas to all three drive disqualified charges.

He was sentenced to an intensive corrections order for a period of nine months, fined $2200, disqualified from driving for a further 12 months, and was ordered to complete 50 hours community service.
