Despite suffering a number of key outs from 2020, including the three Picker brothers, Young has recruited strongly.
Three Cornish brothers, two with NRL experience, fill three key positions at fullback (Tyler), five-eighth (Nick) and halfback (Mitch) and will be eager to have an early impact.
Ben McAlpine is the other new recruit, he starts at centre.
Coach Nick Hall is confident his side will once again be competitive after making the semi-finals in 2020.
"I think we are going to be similar to last year in terms of we are going to be competitive. I think on our day we are going to be competitive," Cherrypickers coach Nick Hall said.
