Young Camera Club is very saddened by the passing of John van Rijswijk.

John was our secretary and treasurer. He put much effort into our annual Cherry Festival Photography Exhibition and encouraged many juniors to be involved.

John was always ready to give a hand with a smile. Most of all, John became a good friend to many club members over the years and will be deeply missed.

Our thoughts go out to his family at this time.

The results for the Young Camera Club March competition were as follows:

  • A grade subject: 1st Jean Faulkes, 2nd Corrie Jarvis, HC Julie Downs and Jessica Jarvis.
  • A Grade Open: 1st Jessica Jarvis, 2nd Narelle Howard, HC and C Julie Downs.
  • Juniors Open: 1st and 2nd Liam Howard, HC and C Miranda Howard.
  • Large Print: 1st Liam Howard, 2nd Julie Downs, HC - Miranda Howard.

Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, May 12 at 6pm.

Brent will be speaking on Event Photography and Tourism Photography, with photos to show us as well.

This is an opportunity for individuals, employees and businesses to learn more, so come along. All are welcome.
