The 4BBB Handicap event was won by David and Peter Hamblin with 62 nett in a 4 way countback from Jim Glasheen and Ian Wells, Jake Veney and Bailey Coombes and Laurie Brown and Andrew Aiken.
The Grove Estate NTP on the 7th was won by Mick Slater with 170 cm, George Glasheen on the 13th with 384 cm, Mick Ashton on the 16th with 70 cm and Dean Schofield on the 17th with 58 cm.
The Terry Brothers Carpet Court secret birdie hole was the 5th and was won by Bill Oliver. The Vinnies Pizza vouchers were won by John Snodgrass and Peter Kirkwood.
Balls went down to 73 nett on single stroke and there were 83 players. Sunday was the second day of the Young Open and it was played as a single stroke format.
The A grade scratch was won by Geoff Walker on the first playoff hole from Simon Oakes. Both players shot 74 over the regular 18 holes.
The B grade winner was Mick Alexander with 83 and C grade was won by Ben Schofield with 89.
The handicap winners were in A grade Gary Anderson 69 nett, B grade Peter Hamblin 74 nett and in C grade Riley Torpy 70 nett. The best score by a visitor was Michael Burns (Canberra) with 71 nett. NTP winners were 7th- Mark Hawker 30cm, 13th Ian Wells, 16th Wayne Honeman 248cm and 17th Paul Martens 128cm.
The $10000 Dunk Insurance Hole in One on the 17th was not won. Longest dive went to Don Jordan in A.Grade, Mick Alexander in B.Grade
and Aaron Moloney in C grade. Vinnies Pizza vouchers to Bruce Reynolds, Mick Slater and Jack Nicolls. Balls went to 74 nett on a countback and 73 players. Next Saturday May 8 is the Cooltech Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Monthly Medals.
The following Saturday, May 15 is a single Stableford sponsored by Signs R Us. Get ready on Saturday, May 22 for the two-person Medley Ambrose Keno conducted for teams of 2 x Ladies, 2 x Men and 2 x Mixed.
Medley golf
The Wednesday Medley event was won by Grant Harding with 39 points and he won 10 balls. Second with 38 points on a countback was Mark Flynn from Barry Martens. Balls went down to 30 points and there were 52 players.
The Friday nine-hole competition was won by Cath Johnson with 22 points from Penny Greaves with 20 points. Balls went down to 18 and 10 players. On Sunday the Social Club played a 14 hole event which was won by Allan Anderson with a score of 55 nett.
Bradmans won by Peter Norton from 17 players. The Kyle McGovern Electrical medley and the Sam Woods Hilltops Regional Security secret birdie hole were not played. Jackpot May 9 $120.
