The event was held on Saturday at the Young Golf Club.
A range of speakers discussed topics of mental health wellbeing, getting healthy in pregnancy, nutrition preconception, reducing the risk of gestational diabetes, breast health and pelvic floor, and common ailments and ligament pain in pregnancy. A breathing and meditation session was held before lunch and an opportunity to chat with speakers.
"We had 23 participants and all the feedback was excellent and requesting to have more information," Young Health Service acting facility manager Katrina Green said.
"Our aim is to try and run something like this once every six months or so, and we'll also be looking at supporting the fathers as well."
The event was sponsored by Hilltops Suicide Prevention Network with support also from The Stables Day Spa, Lime N Soda, Label A, and Urban Hair and Beauty.
