Trained by David Micallef, Golden Zara will line up in gate nine in the Australia Hotel Pace, probably the race of the night in terms of local interests.
Driver Blake Jones takes the reins of Golden Zara after Mat Rue did the job at Young at the end of April.
She started at Canberra on May 3 and ran fifth, but has form at the Young Paceway to return to the winner's circle.
Stablemates Majoress Jujon and Tromso, trained also by Micallef, will feature in the 1720m race.
Nathan Turnbull will drive Majoress Jujon, who is coming off a last start second place finish at Leeton.
The six-year-old mare has finished second in three of her last five starts, so will likely be pushing to find the line again.
They've drawn gate seven.
David Micallef's son Blake Micallef has the drive for Tromso, a four-year-old gelding.
After winning at Albury on April 6, he's finished second, fourth and ninth at Canberra, Coolamon and Leeton.
Drawn the front row in gate three, Blake will be aiming to take full advantage and lead the gelding to his sixth career win.
Last start winner Pete Mitchell for Young trainer Todd Day could be one to beat. They will leave gate two.
The four-year-old gelding won his maiden event last start at Young Paceway, and should be pressing to make it two straight.
Another Young hope is One Horn Billy, who ran third last start at Young on April 27.
He's been lightly raced this year with only three outings last month, which included a win at Wagga in his return to the track.
Gate one will give the Kevin Powderly-trained pacer an advantage, one that driver Shane Hallcroft will be hoping to make the most of.
Uroc Skinny Jeans for Rick Burnett is another hope for the locals.
His chance, in the TAB App Pace (1720m), is bolstered by the gate one draw and local knowledge of driver Blake Micallef in the gig.
Many other local trainer have pacers scattered throughout the meeting.
Racing begins 5.10pm.
