Making his debut, Emperor Izmir won the Young Mini Dig Maiden (347m), edging out Cowra trainer Rodney McDonald's debutante Dana Murphy.
Emperor Izmir recorded a slick 20.23s over the 347m.
Cowra trainer Frank Jeffcoat trained a winning double.
Odee Pepper set the best time of the day, finishing the Donges IGA (347m) in a blistering 19.90s.
It was his second win in 15 starts.
Kennelmate Betty Pepper scored her first victory, in start number 18, in the opening race of the day - the Thank You GRNSW Extra Prizemoney Maiden (347m).
She was the $1.70 favourite and won by a neck.
Temora trainer Glenn Schwenke also enjoyed a thrill with a race-to-race winning double with chasers Chuckin' Pies and Tikki.
It was the fifth win for Chuckin' Pies, a son of Blazin' Bomber, who was stepping out for his 40th start.
For Tikki, it was her 10th career win and first since December last year.
