"I would like to thank everyone who took the opportunity to get tested for Covid-19 at the Murrumbidgee Local Health District's pop-up clinic, held at Young Town Hall," Ms Cooke said.
Ms Cooke is urging locals to come forward.
"The testing numbers have been reasonable, however I think we can do better, so please can I urge anyone in our community with even the slightest of cold-like symptoms to get at test," she said.
"As per NSW Health advice, if you are tested you must isolate until a negative result is received.
"The tests taken at this clinic will be assessed by a 24 hour pathologist based at Wagga."
Ms Cooke has also thanked the staff from Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) and Hilltops Council for their hard work.
"I would like to say a big thank you to MLHD staff who continue to work around the clock to ensure our community is safe," she said.
"I also thank Hilltops Council Mayor Brian Ingram for his support at the clinic and encouraging locals to get tested."
Ms Cooke has also said anyone who may be concerned about the turnaround time for results, should know there is a one off test and isolate payment available for those who meet certain criteria.
"More information about this support payment is available at the Service NSW website," Ms Cooke said.
